Sometimes, the photos you don’t smile for are the most meaningful. I have yet again stumbled upon these photos as I was looking back on our trip. I will admit it: yes I go through the 30GB quite often. Serendipity has yet again done its magic.

Happy 4th of July, USA!!

Believe it or not, I actually forgot I had these photos. Thankfully, I had the patience to look through 30 GB worth of pictures and found this!!

The photos were taken during our day trip to Longwood Gardens, Pennsylvania. It’s basically a giant garden.

Imagine yourself being Alice with a bunch of flowers in Wonderland. That’s how I felt and that’s probably how you’ll feel too once you pay a visit. There are lots of plants and pretty flowers and if you’re a nature person, this is a perfect place for you. I’m a mix of a rural and urban so I guess I still could appreciate nature as much as genuine nature lovers do.

Cheers to my third post this week!!! Credits again to my buddy for motivating me to post more. Paula makes the cutest posts and takes great photos- her blog is adorbs! Check her out here.

First things first. Please don’t mind the hair.
My buddy Paula told me I should post more photos of my trip. While I was in the States, I wasn’t very consistent on updating where I was or how I’ve been and whatnot. My family decided to go on a road trip for the rest of our 1 month stay. Let me just tell you it didn’t work out. After 7 days, we arrived at my uncle’s place in New Jersey and we gave up. That sums our whole trip basically.
About the photo…. That’s probably our 3rd day of travel from LA. I’m not quite sure because every day on the road seemed like the other so I couldn’t really tell the difference. This photo was taken during our quick stop at Hoover Dam. he sun was shining but it was friggin’ cold that day. Winds were blowing like crazy and I couldn’t keep up.I did not understand the weather at all.
My summer was a heck of an adventure! Hope I could do this again soon<3

Please don’t judge me. YES I didn’t do a post when I knew I should have but NO I didn’t forget. Even though super exciting things had happened during my weekend, I think it’s best if I keep those to myself for now. But I will say that I spent the entire afternoon of Saturday with my classmates. We had lunch and watched 22 Jumpstreet which was by the way AMAZING. The photo was taken yesterday while my aunt and I were just chilling.
I am currently sick which sucks so much. I feel so uncomfortable. Hopefully, my medicine starts doing its wonders and cures me before any important tests. A box of tissues and a water bottle is my absolute best friend right now.
AND BY THE WAY… it’s June 23 which means I WILL BE TURNING SIXTEEN IN A MONTH. Crazy!! I’ll be leaving y’all with this for now:)

THROWBACK: I LEFT MY HEART IN SAN FRANCISCO
This photo was taken during my last day in San Francisco which is also my last day in the United States. It was an “okay” day since it wasn’t too hot and wasn’t too cold. We toured around San Fran and let me just say, San Francisco is a beautiful city- something I would call tumblr worthy. I even find it more alluring than Los Angeles. I don’t know why but the city is so gorgeous I wish I had more than 2 days to spend there. After the morning tour, we spent a whole afternoon at the Union Square which I also looooooved. I took the photo while waiting for our tour bus to pick us up. I think the Starbucks we were at was located at the 4th floor of Macy’s. The view was spectacular. Saks Fifth Avenue was right across the street!! Too bad we didn’t go in because our time was limited. San Francisco is one of the places I would love to visit again! Hopefully I could go back very soon!
P.S. They spelled my name wrong:( but that’s okay! That makes me remember that day even more!

As heartbreaking as this would sound, I am officially saying goodbye to summer.
My classes start on Monday and allow me to say that I am definitely not ready to be back in school. I am a senior now and I know I’ve got to take things a lot more seriously, but just knowing that senior year will be a heck of a year, I am very scared.
Will all the drama aside, I’m doing this post to officially close my summer. This summer has been the best one and it’s incredible how each year out-does the one before. I am just so thankful and very blessed with everything.
One thought though… I guess I find it weird that summer is over here in the Philippines and summer has just started in the States and some other countries. When I was there, it was technically spring but it was summer to me. Does that make sense? Anyways, I just wanted to point that out.
Also, I would like to announce that I will be committed to my blog this time by posting every Saturdays! I find it exciting because I normally post once a month.
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading xo

One of the many shots I took during our day trip in Washington DC. Washington DC may be known as a busy city but I love how this photo somehow captures a softer side other than traffic or buildings and people in suits. The photo isn’t at all perfect but I really love the elements in this photo. A day of books and coffee, chatting with the people that you love.
I’m leaving tomorrow evening and I just want to say that America is a beautiful country. I loved my stay and I enjoyed with my family a lot. But of course, nothing is better than going back home and enjoying the company of the rest of my family and friends.
Till the next post!

Since my last haul, I visited a bunch of stores. I didn’t really have a reason and I had a bit of money to spend so I thought I should go ahead and buy beauty stuff. I have been hunting for the Real Techniques brushes since I came here and I haven’t found them yet. I guess I have to keep on looking!
As you can see, I have quite a few of products. I have tried all of it except the EOS lip balms because they are obviously still in their packagings.
I will not go into every product because that would just make this blogpost tedious.
Happy weekend!
Here’s to another haul!

Here’s to another haul!

So we’re finally in New Jersey! I’m so happy to be here and just chill and relax. I slept in until lunch time which is crazy! I know, I know. And by 2pm we left and went to the mall. The location of my uncle’s house is pretty cool because malls are everywhere. So right now I am back home and I thought I should do a haul!

I must say that I am so impressed and surprised on how the stuff here are so much cheaper compared to the prices back home.

image

The first store I went to was Bath & Body Works because I knew I had to have candles. I got 3 mini-candles because they were having their 3 for $10 sale and the bigger sized candles were just too big to bring home.

image

The names definitely scream summer!! I am so into fresh sweet scents right now. And when I smelled these in the store, I grabbed them right away.

image

I also added a mini candle holder which didn’t cost much. How cuuute!?

image

Then I headed on to Claire’s.

image

I picked up 2 false lashes because I know I would need these for an event I’ll be attending in June. And I also got 2 arrow bracelets in silver and gold. Each bracelet costs $2 which is such an awesome deal!

image

I went into Forever 21 and ended up with two things:

image

I bought this really cute pouch thing because I love the print on it. And I added a really cute pair of socks with cats on them.

image

I also went to Victoria’s Secret because my mom wanted fresh undies. They had really cute bikinis this summer so I bought one of their bikini tops and an underwear.

image

Last but not the least, I went into Francesca’s because I just wanted to look around and I ended up with one thing.

image

I was looking around and found this dish. I bought it because this would work as a great Mother’s Day gift for my Mom. She loves jewellery and I thought this dish would be lovely for her to set her favourite jewellery on.

Hope y’all loved this post! See ya!

ADAAAH!!! UPDATE OFTEN!!! WAAAAHH HAVE FUN!!!!

PAAAUUU!! Miss you! hehe i’ll try! I’m gonna be on the road for a few days. gonna travel to Missouri. Probably gonna update when I’m there:))

One word: cold. I wasn’t expecting the weather to be this cold. I spent the whole day in my coat yesterday.

We went to Solvang as our first trip here in States. I loved the place so much I wanted to stay longer. However, the shops were closing so we had to go on. I spotted this flower in one of the pots on a side walk. The vibe of the place is very Switzerland or Europe-ish. A tip: Walk around when you’re in Solvang. You’ll never know what you might miss.

here’s my face for y’all :))

Hi guuuys! I’m going to LA!! I’ll be leaving in a couple of hours and I thought I should do a quick update before the flight.

image

Right now, the scene is just me eating chocolate mousse and Russian Tea Cookies (i think that’s what it’s called) and sipping tea.

The flight is 13 hours long but my laptop’s battery life is 2-3 hours. So I guess I better go and charge this thing. I’ll be blogging during the whole trip but of course I wouldn’t focus on just blogging. I want to make memories.

See y’all in a bit!
