I didn’t have any decent looking photo other than this.
Thanks to my dear friend, Paula, I’ll be doing a post tonight! yaaayy *queue confetti* POOF. The typical tag. I honestly don’t know how to work these things.
Let’s do this!
I’m the worst person at keeping up with blogs. I really wish I hadn’t slacked but I didn’t have the time. September has been a really hectic and stressful month for me. Now that my 2nd Quarter exams are over, I can spend more time on the internet.Photo: from today’s trip to Saranggani Highlands.
I’ll admit I didn’t end up reading this book as planned- despite the fact that we’ve all watched Alice in Wonderland and it’s certainly not necessary to read the book. Hahaha. And I’m still not done with The Undomestic Goddess. I’m quite close to the end but I haven’t finished it completely. I guess the last chapters didn’t seem to interest me as much as the middle did. It was a great book anyway!
I love August. This is the month where most of the holidays fall in. Therefore, no classes!! This week, my Mom booked tickets to Manila so we could spend the weekend there. It’s a cheat actually because I’ll miss two days of school- we’ll leave on wednesday (which is a holiday), then come back on monday(which is also a holiday). Hooray for August!
*I took this photo from yesterday’s Saranggani Highlands trip.
Thank God it’s Friday!! This week has been crazy! Yesterday was the last day of my exams and I celebrated by logging into tumblr and I just caught up with the tumblr stuff I have missed. Apparently, I have been MIA for quite a while. But anyway, I’m here to do another random post because I feel like my blog needs a fresh one.
By the way. I have already finished Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella. And let me just say, the book was definitely a page turner! I’m glad I’ve read that book. I needed something fun to read. Over the summer I have read dystopian books- they’re pretty serious. Also, I think it has been a couple of years since I have read any Sophia Kinsella book. Oh and guess what? I have another Sophie Kinsella book! Two actually but just yesterday, I started reading The Undomestic Goddess. I’m still on page four because I wasn’t really in the mood to read yesterday.
I haven’t talked about my birthday on here yet. There’s quite a lot to tell and I’ll probably do that in another post.
That’s all for now!
This is where the blogging gets fun… For some reason, I am convinced that blogging about books is far more interesting that blogging about regular stuff- but I guess it’s just me.
As you can tell, I have couple of new books!! YAAAYYYY! I told my Dad to pick these up for me. He arrived from Manila yesterday and I got them!! The first book is 14,000 things to be happy about by Barbara Ann Kipfer. I have been eyeing this book for weeks. I reblogged a photo of this on my second tumblr account and I was a bit intrigued. I did a little research on the book and I decided to get it.
Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella was a recommendation by a friend. We both have read the Shopaholic Series at the same time and just fell in love with the books! This one in particular, never caught my eye. I don’t really know why. And it’s been a while since my last “easy read” and a Sophie Kinsella book will definitely fill my book cravings. She told me I’ll be engrossed in this book as she was- we’ll see!
It has been quite a while (I know, i know. I always start my blogposts this way) since my last legit post. But I promise you guys you’re in for such a treat! This blog post might be a bit long so i’d rather you guys go grab a hot cup of tea and read away. (I’ll be doing another post tomorrow!! it’ll be about… wait for it.. BOOKS. OH YES)
So I guess the first thing I have to do is to fill you in with what’s going on with my life right now.
First of all, this month has been pretty stressful for me. I have been doing tons of school work and now that I was elected for class secretary( which was a total deal for me), I had to work extra hard because I have so much responsibilities to accomplish. Putting all those serious talk aside, this month is my birth month!! I should’ve done a separate post but I just thought that would be a complete hassle. In line with that, my mom has been planning a party. She wanted a party and I didn’t. But I couldn’t do anything about that anyway. She is so into the whole planning thing- i don’t even know what has gotten into her. But that’s what I love about my mom; The party is on the 27th but my birthday is on Tuesday.
Moving on, this topic is also related to the birthday planning. My mom organised a pre-shoot of me and my closest friends for my party. And to make this post fun, I have decided to show a few of the photos my friends took during the shoot. Paula, one my besties who also has tumblr, brought her camera so we could blog about it. And before I forget, I’d like to commend Nina for her photography skills. Paula and I are still getting there!
I’m turning 15 this year and I decided to do 15 challenges before July 23(my birthday). But I wouldn’t really call it a challenge because the list I made isn’t much of a dare at all. I’ll be doing one challenge every other day. It might seem very humdrum - but I swear, it’s pretty exciting for me.
#1: draw something
#2: hug 4 people
#3: treat a classmate
#4: read a book, drink hot choco, listen to music and DON’T OPEN ANY SOCIAL MEDIA FOR A DAY
#5: sit next to someone during lunch and talk to him/her
#6: call a distant friend
#7: send a letter to someone
#8: film a random video
#9: record a song
#10: write an anonymous note
#11: stay in bed and watch a movie
#13: Don’t complain about anything
#14: start a journal (make it work this time)
I left #15 black because I had to think for a “real” challenge this time. My classmates said I have to chug a cup of rainwater. I could do that but I’m still thinking about it.
I’ll be updating through twiiter or instagram as I do this challenge!! See you guys soon :*
Yesterday, my cousins and I prepared different fun stuff for Father’s Day. We took photos and videos during the entire process and in the end, we realised that we only got letters and a banner done. Oops.
Say hello to my other blog! This is where I do some serious reblogging. And if I feel like I have nothing to do on my personal blog, i go to this blog. Feel free to check it out!
I received a message 2 months ago saying that I was tagged to do a 10 Random Facts About Me. I thought “Yeeeessss!” But I didn’t do it right away because I was busy with so much stuff( being busy during the summer sounds so nerdy).
